Goals of the Vietnam Veterans of America

Vietnam Veterans of America, Inc., is the only congressionally chartered Vietnam Vererans organization.

It is exclusively dedicated to Vietnam-era-veterans and their families.

Our goals are:

1. To promote and support the full range of issues important to Vietnam Veterans.

2. To assist veterans in maximizing self-realization, enrichment and life fulfillment.

3. To assist disabled and needy veterans (of all eras), their dependents and spouses, and the orphans of deceased veterans.

We hold as our first principle that we are measured by our deeds as evidenced in our core values of justice, integrity and meaningful achievement.

Vietnam Veterans of America, Inc., is a non-profit organization. Programs and services are funded by member dues and donations.

No funding is received from the federal government.

* Assisting with homeless veteran program
* Providing holiday food basket
* Visiting veterans in VA hospitals
* Presenting school educational programs
* Supporting our Gold Star families
* Maintaining the Delaware County Vietnam Veterans Memorial
* Providing an annual scholarship progam
* Participating in the Delaware County Veterans Council
* Working with VVA state and national committees on issue related to:
   Legislation,Government Affairs, Veterans Affairs,
   Women Veterans, POW/MIA, Agent Orange, PTSD/Substance Abuse.
